About the speaker:
Ledy VanKavage is Midwest Government Affairs Director for the ASPCA. Prior to working for the ASPCA, she was an Attorney Advisor for the Office of Hearings and Appeals, Social Security Administration in St. Louis. Ledy is co-founder of the Metro East Humane Society, Illinois Animal Welfare Federation and Operation SPOT (Stop Pet Overpopulation Today). Ledy holds a Juris Doctorate Degree from St. Louis University School of Law.
